Alhaj S. Ameer Jan (83) of Southern Transport in K.R. Mohalla and a resident of 5th Cross in K.R. Mohalla, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in city following brief illness.

He leaves behind two sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held today after Zohar (1.30 pm) at Masjid-e-Adam Khan in K.R. Mohalla, followed by burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds on Nanjangud Road, according to family sources.
