Mysore/Mysuru: Marking renowned Poet K.S. Narasimhaswamy’s (KSN) 108th birth anniversary,  K.R. Nagar-based Gramantara Buddhijeevigala Balaga, which is also celebrating its 38th anniversary, has invited entries from poets for a State-level romantic poetry contest.

Interested poets/ poetess can send two self-composed poems not exceeding 24 lines, along with a self-addressed envelope to Dr. Bherya Ramkumar, President, Gramantara Buddhijeevigala Balaga, Arkeshwaranagar, K.R. Nagar town, before June 30. The senders of best entries will be conferred with ‘KSN Kavya Puraskara.’

The Balaga has also invited applications from achievers from different fields for conferment of ‘Vishwamaanya Kannadiga’ Award.

Interested achievers, who have excelled in the fields of Kannada Land, Language and Literature, Painting, Theatre, Yakshagana, Dance, Folklore, Social Service, Women Empowerment, Child Development, Differently-Abled Empowerment, Rural Service, Music, Education, Co-operation, Medicine, etc., can apply along with their full profile to Dr. Bherya Ramkumar, President, Gramantara Buddhijeevigala Balaga, Arkeshwaranagar, K.R. Nagar town, before June 30.

There is no age limit for applying and the applicants are required to send only photocopies of documents. The applications should be sent only by post.
