CET on June 16 & 17: Prohibitory orders around exam centres

With the Karnataka Examinations Authority scheduled to conduct the CET-2022 (Common Entrance Test) for admission to Engineering, Agricultural Science, Pharmacy and other professional courses (barring Medical and Dental courses) on June 16 and 17 at 26 centres spread across the city, the  Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts radius around all the centres. The ban orders will be in force from  6 am till 6 pm on both the days.

Accordingly, barring the examinees, staff and other officials, no other unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centres on both days of the exam. Also, no one will be allowed to carry objectionable articles around the centres and all photo copy shops in the vicinity of the examination centres have been asked to shut down on June 16 and 17, according to a press release issued bythe Office of the City Police Commissioner.
