The city’s Srirampura Town Panchayat has invited applications from SC/ST and other eligible poor/disabled beneficiaries for availing different types of benefits under the Chief Minister’s Amruth Nagarothana                                                       (Municipality) Scheme. The benefits include financial assistance for construction of houses for Pourakarmikas to be taken up under rain damage rehabilitation works, granting of loans for dependents of Pourakarmikas for setting up small industries or businesses, granting of subsidy (23.33% for SC- 9.45 % for ST- 2.32 % for the poor) for construction of houses, distribution of prosthetic equipment to physically challenged persons depending upon the percentage of disability and disbursement of medical expenses in case of surgery, subsidy for construction of toilets etc.

The interested eligible beneficiaries can visit the Planning Section of Srirampura Town Panchayat for prescribed application forms and other details, according to a press release.
