The Vijayanagar First Stage Residents Welfare Association has organised a free health screening camp at District Kannada Sahitya Parishat in Vijayanagar here on Aug. 13 and 14 between 9 am and 3 pm.

Free E.C.G, H.B, ECHO, BMI, BP, GRBS, Pap smear, iBreast, Bone mineral density and diet counselling will be done during the camp. Independence Day celebration programme will be held on Aug. 15 between 7.30 am and 8.30 am at the same venue. District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal will preside. The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Association will be held at District Kannada Sahitya Bhavan on Aug. 21 at 11 am.   Association President Ln. K. Kalingu will preside, according to a press release.
