Mysuru: Two youths, who were sipping tea near Rural Bus Stand on Saturday night, were assaulted by miscreants who managed to snatch a gold chain from one of them before fleeing from the spot.

The youth who lost his gold chain, weighing about 30 grams, has been identified as Sukhesh, a resident of Devaraja Mohalla in city. Sukhesh, along with his friend, was sipping tea near the Bus Stand, when five persons, who came in a black car, picked up a fight with them, abused them using foul language and snatched the gold chain of Sukhesh after assaulting both of them. A complaint has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.
