Mysore/Mysuru: Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru, has organised Jnaana Yagna, a seven-day discourse in Kannada, on Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s “Sadhana Panchakam”, by Swami Gahananandaji from today (Sept. 19) to Sept.25 between 6.30 pm and 8 pm at Sri Gurudeva Datta Sannidhi, 6th Main, III Stage, Gokulam.
Swami Gahananandaji is well- known to the spiritual seekers of Mysuru. He has served as resident acharya of Mysuru Chinmaya Mission also, as a brahmachari. At present he is the resident acharya of the mission at Tumakuru.
Actively committed to spreading the spiritual messages in our scriptures, he travels widely in Karnataka to conduct Jnaana Yagnas.
In his discourses, he draws knowledge from various sources, both in English and Kannada, interspersed with anecdotes, couplets and wins the heart of the listeners.
Starting from Sept.20, daily from 6 pm to 6,30 pm, there will be chanting of Vishnu Sahasranaama stotram.
