Minister S.T. Somashekar handing over the sports torch to a sportsperson in front of Chamundi Hill Temple this morning marking the inauguration of State-level Dasara Sports Meet. MLA L. Nagendra, MP Pratap Simha, Jungle Lodges and Resort former Chairman M. Appanna and sportspersons were present. Around 4,500 sportspersons are likely to participate in the event. Noted wrestler-Olympic medal winner Sakshi Malik will inaugurate Point Wrestling at Sri Devaraja Urs Multipurpose Stadium, Exhibition Grounds, at 4.30 pm today.
