Plea to remove dried up tree on road median

October 25, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: A dried up tree on the road median on KRS Main Road, opposite Sri Subramanya Temple, has dried up completely and may fall any time.

This is a busy road with hundreds of vehicles plying daily as many visit the District Hospital, Jayadeva Hospital, ESI Hospital, PKTB Sanatorium Hospital and Government Charaka Ayurveda Hospital.

Many tourist vehicles take this road to go to KRS too. Also, there are many schools nearby and hundreds of students from nearby areas walk on this road to reach their schools.

This dried up tree is posing danger and the public have urged the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) authorities and Forest Department officials to take steps and get the dried tree removed at the earliest, before any untoward incident takes place, which could also result in loss of lives.
