Mysore/Mysuru: The six-day Palike Adalat, which concluded on Saturday last (Nov. 19), saw the Civic Body receiving 272 applications/ petitions from members of the public on various civic issues and delivery of Government services and benefits.
On the last day of Saturday, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) received 70 applications, the most on a single day of the Adalat. The 272 applications/ petitions received included 86 in Revenue section, 34 in Urban Planning section, 53 in Ashraya section, 25 in Development and Technical section, 4 in Accounts section, 8 in Health section, 27 in Underground Drainage and VVWW section, 21 in Poverty Alleviation section and 14 Miscellaneous.
The MCC, after going through the applications/ petitions, will send a reply to the petitioners by Nov. 27 on the action taken or redressal. If the applicants/petitioners are not satisfied with the reply nor the redressal, then they can submit a fresh petition at the Final Adalat to take place on Nov. 30.
