M.B. Dean Arjun, a 7th std. student of Jyothi School, Kuvempunagar, has secured first prize in Kumite and Kata categories (Black Belt, 11-13 years) of 5th GKA Open National-level Karate Championship held at Maharaja Indoor Hall, University of Mysore, on Nov. 20.

Son of K.S. Bharath Kumar and Lakshmi, residents of Kuvempunagar, Dean Arjun is trained under Sensei Mahesh.
