The Elder Citizens Council, Mysuru, will be conducting its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on Dec.12 at 9 am at its Saraswathi Samudaya Bhavana in Jayalakshmipuram. Council President Krishnappa Gowda will preside.  Along with the AGM, Founders’ Day will be celebrated by the Hiriya Nagarikara Viswastha Mandali, Jayalakshmipuram,  at 10.30 am at the same venue.

MLC A. H. Vishwanath will inaugurate. Former Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa will be the chief guest. Journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar will inaugurate the ‘Hiriya Nagarikara Mandaliya Seva Prathistana’.  Five senior members – Dr. C.M. Muniramappa, Dr. A.V. Narasimhamurthy, Dr. H.M. Nagaraj, C.V. Gopinath and Manjula Ramaiah  will be felicitated. Gowdappa, Mandali Chairman, will preside, according to a press release from K.V. Ramanath, Council Secretary.
