Mysore/Mysuru: In order to bridge the gap between academia and industry, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and E-Smart Energy Solutions Ltd. on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day recently.

The MoU was signed by  GSSSIETW Principal Dr. M. Shivakumar and E-Smart Energy Solutions Ltd. South India Business Executive Director Neelakanta Iyer in the presence of  Professor and Head (EEE)  Dr. G. Sreeramulu Mahesh,  Associate Professor of EEE Department Dr. N. Jagadisha and faculty members of EEE Department.

The MoU was signed with the objective of imparting technical assistance to carry out technology development activities, to promote projects, internship, arranging industrial visits and to familiarise the students towards industrial environment and interact with professionals.  It also helps to extend assistance for developing programme specific laboratories in the institution for the benefit of students and society.

On the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day, an awareness programme on energy savings and its importance in the present context and energy saving initiatives for the students was held by  E-Smart Energy Solutions.
