Sri Saptarshi Vaidika Gurukula Seva Ashram, Mysuru, has organised mass upanayana for Trimatasthas on Apr. 26 at its premises on KRS Road, Sadhanahalli, beside Varuna Canal, Mysuru. Vidu. Dr. Chithra Bilagiri and troupe will present a Bharatanatyam recital during the Upanayana and prior to Upanayana, Go Puja will be held. On Apr. 25, Udaka Shanti will be performed in the evening. Sri Mata Durga Parameshwari Charitable Trust, Mysuru, has organised a mass upanayana for Trimatastha Brahmana Vatus on May 7 as part of Sri Shankara Jayanthi. Sringeri’s Sri Shankara Mutt, Abhibanava Shankaralaya Dharmadhikari H. Ramachandra will preside over the event. Those who wish to take part in the programme may register their names before Apr. 30, according to a press release from Trust President K. Parthanarayana.
