Three non-officials nominated to Mysore District Minority Committee

Mysuru: For the effective implementation of Prime Minister’s 15-Point Programme for the protection, development and reservation of religions, a Review and Monitoring Committee has been formed by the Minority Welfare, Haj and Auqaf Department, Government of Karnataka under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner with Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer as Vice-President, Parliament Members, MLAs & MLCs and 18 senior officers of the district.

As per the directions of Primary and Secondary Education, Minority Welfare, Haj & Auqaf Minister Tanveer Sait, Mohammed Rafi, S.M. Arokia Das and Suresh Kumar Jain have been nominated as non-official members for a period of three years.

The Committee will meet every month under the Chairmanship of the DC to review, monitor and give suggestions to the Prime Minister’s 15 Point Programme Implementation Committee.
