House burgled at Hale Kesare

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house at Teachers Layout in Hale Kesare, have decamped with gold, silver and ATM card from the house. The burglary took place at the house of retired teacher B. Premavathi at ‘B’ Block in Teachers Layout.

Premavathi had locked her house and had gone to Srirangam in Tamil Nadu last Wednesday. The burglary came to light when she returned last Saturday and found the front door of the house forcibly opened.

On inspecting the house, she found the house ransacked and one gold necklace, a pair of gold earrings, one gold pendant, one gold chain, all weighing a total of 33 grams and 200 grams silver articles, ATM card kept in the almirah stolen.

N.R. Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
