Savarkar Pratishtana, Mysuru, has organised a State-level drawing contest at Freedom Fighter’s Park, opposite Shantala Theatre in Subbarayanakere in city on Aug. 27 at 9 am. The contest has been organised in order to create awareness about the ideologies of Veer Savarkar. The topics for the drawing contest is ‘Punishment at Kalapani Jail’ (Kalapani Shikshe), ‘Savarkar in Freedom Struggle’ (Swatantrya Horatadalli Savarkar) and ‘Patita Pavan Mandir.’ Winners will be given cash prizes of Rs. 10,000 (first), Rs. 5,000 (second) and Rs. 3,000 (third).
