Parveez Ahmed Shariff (59), senior Congress leader and a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away early this morning.

Son of late Abdul Khader Shariff and a native of Saligram in K.R. Nagar, Parveez Ahmed leaves behind his wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed at Masjid-e-Eidgah at 8 pm today, according to family sources.
