Mysuru: The 58th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of The Mysore Merchants Co-operative Bank Ltd. was held at a Convention Hall in J.P. Nagar here recently.
Bank President M.N. Sumana presided over the meeting. In her address, she said that the Bank had, this year, earned a gross profit of Rs. 7,49,43,396.32 and after paying Income Tax of Rs. 2,51,76,534.00, the net profit stood at Rs. 4,97,66,862.32. Hence, 20% dividend had been announced to the members, she added. Bank Vice-President A. Prabhuswamy welcomed the members and senior co-operators. Executive Committee Member B.R. Nandish proposed a vote of thanks. Executive Committee Members N. Sudha, R. Anand, B.R. Nandish, K. Premkumar, B. Kodandaram, R.P. Krishnamurthy and K. Venugopal; Bank Directors S. Anuradha and M.R. Vijayalakshmi and Bank General Manager (in-Charge) Sridhar B. Kulkarni were present.
The occasion also witnessed felicitation to 15 senior members — B.N. Basavaraju, N.S. Vasu, K. Kashinath, S.N. Shivalingegowda, R. Krishnappa, Dr. J.V. Narayan, Sharada Narayan, R. Lingappa, C. Mahadevappa, M.L. Jayaram, U. Lakshminarasimhaiah, B.S. Vasanth, N. Jagadamba and Mohammad Ismail.
