Mysore/Mysuru: A car, which was parked in front of the house at Alanahalli Layout in city, was charred completely in a fire yesterday.

The car belonged to Naveen Kumar, a resident of Alanahalli Main Road. As usual, Naveen Kumar had parked the car in front of his house which caught fire on Sunday morning.

By the time the family members came out of the house, the car was completely charred.

The car owner has lodged a complaint with Alanahalli Police, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar and have obtained footages of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity.

Police said that they are investigating to know whether miscreants had torched the car or the car caught fire due to technical problem.
