Selected to National-level Chess Tournament

Mysuru: K.G.R. Anagha and A. Likitha of Kalale village in Nanjangud taluk are selected to National-level by winning first and fourth prizes respectively at State-level Chess Tournament, in the category of Under 14-17, organised by School Education and Literacy Department at Bommasandra in Anekal taluk of Bengaluru Urban district recently.

Anagha is the daughter of K.M. Gopinath and Roopa couple and Likitha is the daughter of Ankanna and Suma couple. Both students of Carmel School in Nanjangud, have avid interest in chess since childhood and have won several prizes in the tournaments. 

With their good performance at State-level Tournament, they are selected to represent Karnataka in the National-level tournament scheduled to be held in Chennai.
