Mysore/Mysuru: Former Varuna MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah who is at the centre of controversy after his video issuing directions to his father CM Siddharamaiah went viral recently, finally broke his silence.

In his first reply to the allegations, Dr. Yathindra, who was with his father this morning, said, “There is no need to clarify over the video. I speak to the CM over several issues and had I mentioned any monetary deal, then should I issue a clarification. Even still I clarify that I spoke that day regarding CSR funds. The moment ‘a list’ is mentioned, how can it be construed as ‘transfer list’ and how can it be called a ‘racket.’

“The whole of their (Kumaraswamy) family is into politics and can we speak about that. What’s wrong in transferring officers for administrative reasons. Let them speak with documents. I have been involved in the matters of Varuna Constituency and don’t drag my name unnecessarily for all matters without any reason,” said Dr. Yathindra.
