Two-day PGL Memorial Programme at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-day Ganakala Bhushana P.G. Lakshminarayana (PGL) Memorial Programme has been organised at Mysore Vasudevacharya Bhavan, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road, on Dec. 13 and 14, under the aegis of PGL Samsmarana Vedike.

Dec. 13 – 6 pm

Flute Duet by Vidwan Dr. C.A. Sridhar and his son and disciple Vidwan Keshav Chandra. They will be accompanied by Vidwan Keshav Mohan Kumar on violin, Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy on mridanga and Vidwan C.A. Raghunandan Rao on ghata.

Dec. 14 – 6 pm

Felicitation to mridanga scholar Vidwan C. Cheluvaraju. Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha Secretary KSN Prasad will preside. Vidwan H.K. Narasimhamurthy will be the chief guest; 6.30 pm: Vocal concert by Vidwan Ganakala Shri Sampagodu Vighnaraja. He will be accompanied by Vidushi Sindhu Suchethan on violin, Vidwan C. Cheluvaraju on mridanga and Vidwan Sharath Koushik on ghata.
