Human resource management plays an important role in contributing towards the achievement of the sustainability goals of an organisation and in improving its holistic performance. In the above backdrop, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) in association with Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) is organising the 11th International Conference on “HR for Organisational Sustainability” at SDM-IMD auditorium in Mysuru on Dec. 21 and 22.
The conference aims to address several HR related issues, which organisations need to keep in mind, for sustainable performance. Around 125 participants are expected to attend the conference, who will be discussing and deliberating on the significance of HRM policies and strategies for sustainable organisations. The other distinguished speakers, who will be delivering the invited lectures, include Dr. Mahesh Rao, CEO, Aashaya Design Solutions, Ravichandra Bekal, CHRO, Wurth Elektronik India Pvt. Ltd and Dr. K. Anantha Gowda, CHRO, Nandi Economic Corridor Enterprises Limited.
The conference will be inaugurated by K. Suresh, Founder Director, ATMA Foundation and Eswara Rao, Vice-President, Works, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., on Dec. 21 at 10 am. The valedictory address will be delivered by Dr. Dharma Prasad, CEO, Prosetta Bioconformatics.
