This is with reference to the news item “10 more Circles to get signal lights” (SOM dated Dec.1). This includes the Akka Mahadevi Junction at JP Nagar too.

It was also mentioned that  the new signal lights would be operational in a week’s time. It’s been almost a month now since the above announcement, but there is no sign of the signal lights being installed till date, although the poles have been affixed at the said Circles.

The authorities concerned seem to be sleeping over the job now. Hence I once again appeal to the authorities to kindly complete the job at the earliest, thereby making it easier for residents in the area to cross the junction safely.
