Vocal Concert by Vidu. Hiranmayee at Ganabharathi tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Karna-tak Vocal Concert by Vidu. Hiranmayee on Jan. 19 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.

She will be accompanied  by Vidu. Shruthi on violin,  Vid. Eshwar Bhat on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik  on ghata.

Vidu. Hiranmayee of Mysuru hails from a music family. Her father Vid. Prof. R. Srinidhi was a well-known percussion artiste and her mother Vid. Alakananda has done her Vidwat from Madras Adyar Music College.

Vidu. Hiranmayee was initiated into music at an early age by her aunt Vidu. R. Tara and continued her music journey under Guru Vid. R.S. Srilatha.

Presently, she is being trained by ‘Sangeeta Kalacharya’ Vidu. Suguna Varadachari. She has done her Diploma in Karnatak Classical Music from Madras Music Academy with distinction and has been awarded ‘Sangeeta Vidwat Bhushana.’ She is a B-High Grade artiste of Chennai Akashvani.
