Submit cartoons via e-mail by Jan. 20; on-the-spot cartoon drawing on Jan. 21
Bengaluru: To create awareness among voters on the significance of voting in view of Lok Sabha elections-2024, a cartoon exhibition and workshop for artists has been organised near the statue of Basavanna at Vidhana Soudha premises here on Jan. 21 from 9 am, by the Office of Chief Electoral Officer.
Professional and amateur cartoonists, professional artists and art students can participate. The cartoons should be encouraging general public to participate in voting process and underscore the importance of voting. Selected 100 cartoons will be exhibited and best of 25 among them will be used for creating awareness. Suitable remuneration will also be given for these cartoons.
However, cartoons should not favour any political party or mock at them. They should be fresh and not used during any previous publicity drives. The cartoons drawn using graphics, brush, pencil, pen etc., should be submitted in digital format of 288 ppi/dpi dimension. The original copies of the cartoons selected should be submitted to the Election Commission.
Cartoons may be mailed to [email protected], along with name, address and mobile phone number by Jan. 20. Those drawing cartoons on-the-spot should be present at the designated place on Jan. 21 at 9 am.
