Mysore/Mysuru: Teachers in city limits will be provided with On Official Duty (OOD) facility to participate in the first Chamaraja Constituency Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, DDPI H.K. Pandu has stated.

The first Chamaraja Constituency Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, organised by the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, will be held on Feb. 8 at Kalamandira in city during which a seminar on ‘Naadu-Nudi’ will be held. Parishat City President K.S. Shivaram had sought permission to allow interested teachers to participate.

In this backdrop, the DDPI has permitted teachers to participate and has ordered to provide OOD facility to the teachers. He has also instructed the officials concerned to give necessary instructions to school heads to allow NCC, NSS students and Scouts & Guides band sets to participate in the procession.
