St. Philomena’s College, Bannimantap, has organised a talk on ‘Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and its significance’ for educators and students tomorrow (Feb. 8) at 11.30 am in the College’s UG Auditorium.Dr.Hanumanthachar Joshi, Principal, Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, will be the distinguished speaker, who has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field.
IPR plays a key role in safeguarding public interest while simultaneously promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. By converting intellectual property into financially viable assets, IPR encourages product commercialisation and ensuring effective application.The event is organised by the IPR Cell of St. Philomena’s College, emphasising the institution’s commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of the crucial role intellectual property plays in today’s academic and entrepreneurial landscape.
