210 fake branded towels worth Rs. 1 lakh seized

Mysore/Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, who raided a textile shop which was selling fake product of Welspun Global Brands Limited company, have seized 210 fake company towels worth Rs. 1 lakh from the textile shop.

Following a complaint from the officials of Welspun Global Brands Limited company, who in the complaint had stated that Mayur Textiles in Mandi Police limits was selling fake product of their company, the CCB Police raided the textile shop on Feb. 1 and seized the fake product.

A case has been registered at Mandi Police Station and legal action has been initiated.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and CCB ACP S.N. Sandeshkumar guided CCB Inspector K.C. Poovaiah, Sub-Inspector K. Lepaksha and staff Ramegowda and M. Anil in the raid and seizing operation.
