Cop returns wallet with cash, documents to owner

Hunsur: A Police Constable, who found a purse near Maddur, handed over the purse to Maddur Police Station in Mandya, thus displaying honesty.

About 10 days back, Tashi Thondup, an ex-Serviceman and a resident of TRL Settlement in Gurupura village, Hanagod hobli of Hunsur taluk, had lost his wallet containing Rs. 6,250 cash, Aadhaar Card, ID Card and other important documents, which were found by Constable Chandrappa, attached to Maddur Police Station.

Chandrappa handed over the purse to Maddur Circle Police Inspector Zameer Ahmed, who in turn traced the address of Tashi Thondup and returned the purse.
