Mysore/Mysuru: The students of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, have won 2nd place in the 8th National Techno Exhibition-2024 organised recently at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru and received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
Students from Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department presented their project ‘Physio Assistive Device’ which works as a medical equipment. The project on cardiovascular diseases, which is responsible for a significant global death toll, pose a challenge due to limited continuous vital sign monitoring tools. However, IoT technologies have revolutionised disease management magnificently. An advanced solution,the Physio Assistive Device, integrates sensors for real-time monitoring, enabling remote patient observation and personalised treatment. This transformative approach enhances patient outcomes and quality of life.
