Presently there are only one flight each from Mysuru to Chennai and Hyderabad. For persons traveling to far off destinations such as Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkata, it becomes terribly stressful to go to Bengaluru Airport causing waste of time and energy. If more flights are put to Chennai or Hyderabad, one can at least change over from there to far off destinations. 

Secondly, small flights could be resumed to smaller towns like Hubballi, Shivamogga, Pune and Mangaluru at least one flight per week. Traveling to Mangaluru by road is quite strenuous due to ghat sections.

I humbly request the authorities concerned to look into this matter and do the needful. Otherwise usefulness of Mysore Airport will be nil. It is also extremely important from the point of view of developing this beautiful city.
