Mysore/Mysuru: The silver jubilee function of Mysore Dermatology Society was held at a private hotel in city recently. Inaugurating the event, Indian Association of Dermatologists Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) State President Dr Mitaxari K. Hugar appreciated the works taken up by Association.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences former Vice-Chancellor and Siddaganga Medical College Administrative and Research Institute Executive Director Dr. S. Sacchidanand delivered a lecture for students pursuing their Post-Graduation in Dermatology.

Later, senior dermatologist delivered special lecture on newer innovation in dermatology.

In the quiz competition organised for PG students, Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences emerged victorious. Later, the members of the Association were felicitated. IADVL State Secretary Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Organising Chairman Dr. B.L. Nanjundaswamy, Organising Secretary Dr. Y.M. Shivakumar, Mysore Dermatology Society President Dr. H. Bangaru, Secretary Dr. S. Satish, Treasurer Dr. K.R. Raghavendra, dermatologists and PG students from all over the State were present.
