Kannada essay contest

As part of Yashodhara Dasappa’s 120th birth anniversary, the city’s Negilayogi Women’s Welfare Association has organised a Kannada essay contest on the life, politics and social work of Yashodhara Dasappa. The contest will be held under three categories based on age group — Below 18 years, Between 19 and 30 years and Above 31 years.

The essays should be in the range of 300-500  words in Kannada. There will be prizes for the top three essays. Also, every participant will be issued participation certificates on June 13. The essays should be submitted either in person or sent by  post  to the Association Office at Negilayogi Maruleshwara Seva Bhavan, Opposite New Law Courts Complex, Jayanagar,  Mysuru, before June 9.
