Mysore/Mysuru: Two scooterists were injured when the two-wheeler they were riding, was hit by a Toyota Innova car near Nanjumalige in the city on June 2.

The injured scooterists have been identified as 58-year-old Srinivas and his nephew 14-year-old Mohan Kumar, residents of Sunnadakeri.

The two were riding on a Honda Activa scooter (KA-09/ HW 0120) near a fish booth at Nanjumalige, when the speeding Innova car rammed into their scooter.

Due to the impact of the collision, both the riders fell down and sustained injuries and were rushed to a private hospital nearby.

The K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
