Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru Unit, will be organising ‘Modern Vachana’ writing competition in three categories — 8 to 18 years, 19-30 and 31-60 years. Vachanas should have a minimum of four lines and maximum of eight lines and not published anywhere. Candidates can send 2-3 vachanas typed or written on one side of the sheet. Selected candidates will get an opportunity to recite vachanas during the goshti.  

Interested can send their entries by July 20 to M.G. Sadanandaiah, President, Sharana Sahitya Parishat, City Unit, No. 140, 1st Cross, 3rd Main, M-Block, 2nd Stage, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru-570023.  Best five vachanas will be awarded.
