‘Swaralaya’ cultural festival in city tomorrow

Swaralaya Sangeetha Samsthe, Mysuru, is organising ‘Swaralaya,’ a cultural festival in association with Department of Kannada and Culture at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar on June 16 at 4 pm. This was disclosed by Swaralaya Founder Suma Harinath at a press conference held at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in the city on June 13. The programme will be inaugurated by music teacher Shashikala Chandrashekar.

Amma Ramachandra will present a folk songs programme while Bharatanatyam dance will be presented by Spandana and Sneha. Music teacher Bhagyalakshmi will participate as the chief guest, said Suma Harinath and appealed the public to attend the function in large numbers. Swaralaya Vice-President Jayashree Tolpadi, Secretary H.S. Srikantaamani, Treasurer Subha Ganesh and Legal Advisor K.V. Vasu were present.
