Betting: 49 persons arrested, Rs. 64,007 cash seized

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, the City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, who raided gambling dens, where people were found indulged in placing betting during carom game, have arrested a total of 49 persons besides seizing a total of Rs. 64,007 stake money, 15 carom boards and other items.

Following information about betting while playing carom game, separate Police teams were formed which raided the gambling dens and arrested the gamblers.

A case has been registered at Udayagiri Police Station.
