CNNL Superintending Engineer’s house, office raided by Lokayukta

Mysore/Mysuru: Following complaints of having assets disproportionate to known sources of income, the Lokayukta sleuths raided the house and offices of Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited (CNNL) Superintending Engineer Mahesh in city this morning.

Guided by Karnataka Lokayukta DGP Prashanth Kumar Thakur, IGP Subramanyeshwara Rao and Mysuru Lokayukta In-charge SP Suresh Babu, raids were conducted by Mysuru Lokayukta Dy.SP V. Krishnaiah, Inspectors Ravikumar, Jayarathna and Lokesh, Madikeri Lokayukta staff Veerabhadra Swamy, Prakash, Gopi, Triveni, Mohan Gowda, Mohan Kumar, Dinesh and Sundaresh.

Simultaneous raids were conducted at Kabini Project Office at Nanjangud, Mahesh’s mother’s house at Tumbala in Nanjangud, Mahesh’s house at K.C. Layout in Mysuru and the CNNL Office at Gokulam. Lokayukta sleuths were continuing their search in Mahesh’s house at K.C. Layout, when we went to the press.
