Hassan: The annual Darshan of Goddess Hassanamba, the famed deity of Hassanamba temple at Hassan, will take place from Oct.24 to Nov. 3.

Hassan DC Satyabhama held a preliminary meeting in this regard at Hassan on Tuesday, during which she directed the officials to make preparations for Hassanamba Jatra Mahotsava.

Pointing out that the temple will be thrown open for devotees for 9 days during this period (Oct. 24 to Nov. 3) , Satyabhama gave instructions to the officials on providing all necessary facilities to the devotees. She further told the officials to provide online booking facility to the devotees for having Darshan of the deity.

The DC also directed the officials to organise package tours by KSRTC and KSTDC, covering all tourist spots in the district.
