Traffic jam at Kengeri

Bengaluru: The BJP-JD(S) padayatra, which commenced in Kengeri, southwestern Bengaluru, caused major traffic congestion in the early hours today. The Mysuru-bound padayatra began at Kengeri and will proceed through Bidadi and Ramanagara before reaching Mysuru on Aug. 10.

Today morning, Mysuru Road saw heavy traffic congestion near NICE Road toll plaza. Outbound traffic was particularly affected, with delays stretching from Kengeri bus station and Challaghatta metro station past NICE Road toll plaza. This congestion hit traffic from the eastern arm of NICE Road, affecting vehicles from Hemmigepura  towards Mysuru Road.
