To commemorate the 77th birth anniversary of late V. Sreenivasa Prasad, a seminar on his personality and struggles will be held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre premises, Manasagangothri, in city on Aug. 6 at 10.30 am.

The seminar, titled ‘V. Sreenivasa Prasad Vyaktitva Mattu Horata,’ will be organised jointly by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre, University of Mysore, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Educational and Cultural Trust, Samanate-Swabhimana-Svalambane Pratishtana and Samanate Prakashana.

The seminar will be inaugurated by District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa. Vishwamaithri Buddha Vihar’s  Dr. Kalyanasiri Bhanteji will grace the occasion.

Senior journalist Ravindra Bhat will speak on the personality of Sreenivasa Prasad while Cultural Thinker Dr. Banjagere Jayaprakash will speak about Prasad’s struggles.

Former Assembly Speaker K.R. Ramesh Kumar will preside. Director of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre Prof. J. Somashekar, Trust President Bhagyalakshmi Sreenivasa Prasad and Publisher Bharat Ramaswamy will be present.
