Bengaluru CCB Police Inspector ends life near Bidadi

He had served at Jayalakshmipuram, Hebbal Police Stations in Mysuru

Mysore/Mysuru: Thimmegowda, an Inspector with the Economic Offences Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru, was found dead by suicide this morning.

His body was discovered hanging from a tree in Kaggalipura village near Bidadi.

Thimmegowda had previously served as an Inspector at the Jayalakshmipuram and Hebbal Police Stations in Mysuru before his transfer to the CCB approximately two months ago. The motive behind his decision is currently unknown.

The Kaggalipura Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
