City Professor among 27 top women achievers

City Professor Dr. Paniveni Udayashankar has been featured among 27 women achievers in Physics and Engineering in the book titled ‘Women Shaping Scientific Frontiers’ released by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) at a function held at INSA auditorium in New Delhi recently. A resident of Mysuru, Dr. Paniveni is a Hon. Professor in Physics at Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (PPISR) in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru. Recently, two of her students, G.M. Sowmya and G. Rajani, were awarded Ph.D in Astrophysics during the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Convocation.
