Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Raghavendraswamy Seva Samiti, Jayalakshmipuram, is organising the 353rd Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhowma from Aug. 20 to 22. The following programmes will be held during the Aradhana Mahotsava:

Everyday, Suprabhata at 5.30 am, Maha Panchamruta Abhisheka from 7 am to 7.45 am, Kanakabhisheka, Sarvaseva and others from 8 am to 10 am, Mahamangalarati at 12 noon, Prasada distribution from 12.30 pm to 2 pm.

At 7 pm, Swastivaachana, Shreya Prarthane and Mahamangalarati will be held.

Cultural programmes

On Aug. 20 from 6.30 pm to 9 pm, vocal performance by Vidwan Sameeracharya accompanied by Vid. Ganesh Bhat (keyboard), Vid. Atmaram (tabla) and Vid. Vinay Rangadhol on rhythm pad.

On Aug.21 from 6.30 pm to 9 pm, Bhajans by Sri Satyadhyana Bhajana Mandali, vocal by Vid. S. Shankar accompanied by Vidushi Pruthvi Bhaskar on violin, Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy on mridanga and Vid.Sharat Koushik on ghata.

On Aug. 22, Talavadya by H.L. Shivashankaraswamy and troupe from 6.30 pm to 9 pm.

On Aug. 22, at 10 am, Maharatothsava of Sri Guru Rayaru will be held on the main streets of Jayalakshmipuram, says a press release from Sri Guru Raghavendraswamy Seva Samiti.

Sri Sagarakatte Raghavendra  Mutt

The 3-day 353rd Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendraswamy will be held at Sri Sagarakatte Raghavendra  Mutt located on 12th Cross, V.V. Mohalla from Aug. 20 to 22. Padapuje will be held at 7 am, followed by Panchamrutha at 9 am, Alankara at 12.30 pm on all the three days. Also, there will be music programmes from 7 pm to 8.30 pm daily.

Vidwan N.R. Prashanth will present a music programme at 7 pm on Aug. 20, Vidushi Archana Rao will present a Karnatak classical music concert on Aug. 21 and Vidwan R.K. Padmanabha will present a Veena concert on Aug. 22.

Rathotsava will take place at 10.30 am on Aug. 22.
