The District Administration and Kannada & Culture Department have jointly organised Sri Krishna Jayanti celebrations at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road in city on Aug. 26 at 10 am. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the event. MLA K. Harishgowda will preside.  MPs Yaduveer Wadiyar and Sunil Bose will be the chief guests. Senior littérateur Dr. N.K. Ramasheshan will deliver a lecture on the occasion,  according to a press release.
