Kullegowda (88), a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away last night following a heart attack.

He had retired as a Senior Auditor at Local Audit Circle and was serving as the Secretary of Kuvempunagar Nagarika Vedike.

A native of Harave Kallahalli of Hunsur taluk, he leaves behind three daughters, two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Kullegowda’s body, which is now kept at a hospital mortuary, will be brought to his residence tomorrow (Aug. 28) at 8 am and last rites will be performed at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds in city at 1.30 pm after the arrival of his son from abroad.
