KPSC exam for gazetted probationers held

Mysore/Mysuru: The competitive exam for appointment of Gazetted Probationers (Group A and B) conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) was held today at 11 centres across the city, amid tight Police security.

Despite the demand by various quarters for the postponement of the exam, the KPSC went ahead with the conduct of the exam, for which over 2.5 lakh candidates have registered.

In Mysuru, the exam was held at 11 centres. While the first paper was held in the morning session (10 am to 12 noon), the second paper was held in the afternoon session (2 pm to 4 pm). The question papers were despatched from the District Treasury to the exam centres in 4 assigned routes, under tight Police security. Police had clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mt. radius around all the exam centres for smooth conduct of the exam.
