Rev. Fr. Joseph Rodrigues (77), Priest of Diocese of Mysore, passed away yesterday.

Born on Mar. 22, 1947, he was ordained as Priest of Diocese of Mysore on Oct. 24, 1974 and served the Diocese under various capacities. For last few years, he was in Home for the Aged run by Little Sisters of the Poor at Gandhinagar, Mysuru.

His body was kept at the Chapel at Home for the Aged and St. Joseph’s Cathedral for public homage today and thereafter Funeral Mass was held at Cathedral Church. After the Holy Mass, his body was taken to Gandhinagar Cemetery for the burial.
